Helping humanity part 2

We planned to travel towards Mithi through the national highway and the trip was almost 5 hours long. On the day of eid we pacmed all our stuff the medicines and clothes along with the cash to buy food from and started the trip at 7 am.

We were five and the plan was to reach our destination before noon so that we can return just after sunset or close to it. Long journeys with friends are always fun and this time we had the satisfaction of knowing that this trip will benefit the needy. Ohr hearts were full of excitement and compassion for doing our part in society.

On the way we stopped at a traditional food place and ate our breakfast. It was roti with daal fry and chola, these are traditional Pakistani cuisine and were very tasty.

On our way we went past many fields of mango trees and banana trees until we were closer to the destination. The fields were green full of nutrition and water as we entered the Thar area the whole scenario changed. The surface was dry with cracks shown am indication of water shortage and the canals had also dried up. Before Mithi there is a town known as nokot the highway between both towns was just surrounded with dessert and small huts on the huge sand dunes. This sight really was cringe worthy we should thank Allah at all times tha facilities He has given us. These people have nothing solely surviving on pure determination.

The comparision of the topography between these three images is clear as to how these people have difficulty in surviving. We finally reached our destination and now the only thing left was to help these people.
