A Visit To God's Grace Orphanage Agbowa-Lagos

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lagos province 39,2017 class of the school of disciples, as part of the prerequisite for discipleship took a trip to a motherless babies home, especially those under the watch of the above named orphanage. The trip was schedule for Saturday, 16th December, 2017.,Disciples converged at RCCG Salem City Church hall by 10:00am.
As we moved out of town through the newly constructed highway via Temu, a surburd of Epe town, most disciples had already started dozing off, they had not had enough sleep consequent upon the compulsory vigil that all attended a night before.

I remained awake throughout the journey, maybe melatonin ( sleep causing hormone) refuse to secret. I kept watch of the driver who was also at the vigil. Alas!!! We arrived at the orphanage and all the sleeping disciples jumped to their feet and were all ushered into the visitors room where we met the manager of the orphanage.

Finally, we were set to the children . You wouldn't believe. Many of them looked well fed and beautiful too. They spoke simple correct English and well dressed. Although, a scattered number of the children reflects malnutrition, some with lapa-lapa (ring-worm) on their heads. They were very joyful that people from the outside world remember they exit, paid a visit and not empty-handedly.
