The legendary Papillon charity is in the house!

Greetings to all!

The Papillon Foundation is honored to partner with the esteemed members of Steemit.

Many of you might know about our work in South Africa with poor children, orphans, adults, pensioners, special needs children and so many others that need help. Many of you might not know us.

My name is Stephen Smith (Z.A.S. Smith) and my wife's name is Marian (M.L. Smith) we are the founders of The Papillon Foundation, started in 2002. Papillon is the French word for "Butterfly" and we have chosen the name for it's transformation properties! "Metamorphosis" means "Transformation" and we are helping poor families to transform their lives and their communities. We run several short term, medium term and long term social projects and aver the next days I will show you some amazing results that were achieved by our small charity.

Hereby, as an introduction is one of the projects; namely the Children and youth project. Some 1600 orphans and children in poor areas receive Easter and Christmas gifts from Papillon every year. But we do not stop with this, as we also that them on outings, we train them in basic computer skills, we register them at formal schools, we clothe them and we care for them. Of course there are many other child issues that we deal with, but this is just an idea of what we do.
