Goats for God Update
As a way to have a sustainable help to the poor, we have acquired 14 goats and recently built a house for them and a pen.
The pen is only for at night and if we are going to be away. Otherwise the goats are free to roam the property. The side benefit is I don’t have to mow the grass as frequently as bg (before goats).
This is how it works.
- We give a female doe goat to a family
- They give us back the first doe baby goat. SUSTAINABILITY
- They can sell the baby goats for 1000 to 1500 pesos. $20 to $30. INCOME
- Goats milk is great!
- Can make cheese.
- Goats take very little for upkeep.
Some here are only making 200 to 250 pesos per day, so this will really help.
At the same time we are showing the love of God.
Goats are given to anyone in need regardless of their religious beliefs.

Much different! Slow cooked and very good in Mexico. The call it cabrito!
