Charitable deeds, let's crowd-fund for kids in Bangladesh, fruits and snacks every week, nr. 32

in #charity6 years ago

Another week, another post. Life has been eventful. I have had some ups and downs. But we are not here to talk about that. We are here to do good deeds. All proceeds from this post will go to @SchoolForSDG4, created by @Azizbd, to help host a weekly fruit program and/or provide educational materials for the kids.

A recent post from @SchoolForSDG4. It covers income and expenses for the last month!

This week life has continued on. It does not matter how many things need doing, time always continues its course. This week has been more positive than not. The school just came out with its monthly income/expense sheet and the kids seem to be healthy and strong. The fruit program took place. I must admit, I have not talked to @Azizbd often lately. Existence has gotten the best of me. I barely have time to stop and think for myself. I will get back to my favorite people and platform. I am just not ready enough yet.

Let's start on a positive note! This week Jannatul, a girl that left school and went to a different village with her mother returned to school again. Her mother canceled admission there(in a school located in another village) as the girl doesn't like to study at the other school and she returned to the city again. I hope this is for good reasons and that Jannatul is happy now. It is important to be in an environment that uplifts you instead of bringing you down and I hope that is what our @SchoolForSDG4 will do for the little bright girl who wants to study!

This week the kids had Boroi, and I am quite sure they had the fruit a little while ago as well. Now I really want to try it! It is mostly sour but the version that was purchased for the schools weekly fruit program is more on the sweet side. It is called Kul Boroi and is bigger than its sour counterpart. Looking at the pictures it seems that the kids enjoy the fruit. And, I am guessing it is the season now as it is the second time that I see the berry-like fruits.

Al-Amin's family received 18.75 USD on 10th of March. As I mentioned before, @Azizbd made two reports to show the financial aspect of the school life. You can check one of the reports by clicking the link up on top of the post!. All of the income from last month was powered up and is serving as schools surplus/emergency post. If something goes wrong, the school can take out part of its STEEM in one weeks time and that is more reliable than storing dollars in socks. In the end, the school is holding 1,423 Steem power as a future fund.

That is mostly it this time. The kids are doing okay. Life is not as eventful at the moment but I am sure it will pick up soon enough. After all, it is better to have a moment of smooth rolling, you can not always be up or down and I hope for more stability in the schools and my life as well. I will write for you next week again. My mom is coming to visit and I am sure I will be much better then.

All the pictures are recent and provided by @azizbd, any questions about the project can be resolved with him, he will be happy to answer any questions if you are interested to help this project and have any idea about how to make it better. Heck, he will even get up at 4 AM in the morning just to talk to somebody about ideas. Here is a link to his steemit chat: https://steemit.chat/direct/azizbd

If you would like to contribute by making a post, you can contact Mohammed ( @azizbd ) and he will provide pictures for you, anyone spreading the word is welcome. The income from the post can be sent to @schoolforsdg4, if you think you deserve any Steem for your hard work making a post, keep a dime, even a small donation from your posts means a lot to those kids.

If you have any Steem to spare, donations are welcome. @schoolforsdg4 is where you want to send them.

If you can't spare any Steem, because I know everybody has their lives to live and expenses needed to be covered, a simple upvote is very much appreciated, a resteem is encouraged. :)

As I said, all income from this post will go towards the project, my rewards are set to 50/50 payout, but I am still able to find the STEEM the posts make, so I will be able to forward all income from this post to @schoolforsdg4.

Wishing you an amazing day, today, tomorrow and forever,
Linda

You do what you can and I hope everything is okay!
