The World has a Big Trust Problem. Giga Giving has a Solution.

Edelman produces the widely lauded Trust Barometer that surveys trust across the world. In their 2017 report they note that "two-thirds of the countries we survey are now 'distrusters' (under 50 percent trust in the mainstream institutions of business, government, media and NGOs to do what is right), up from just over half in 2016. This is a particularly damning set of insights across a number of institutions including the charity space. This loss of confidence will impact charitable giving across the world."

Jeremy Epstein, CEO of Never Stop Marketing produces a set of thought leadership on marketing with insightful blog posts and other fantastic content. In a recent post, Facebook’s Blockchain Problem, he notes that Ad Tech also has a big trust problem. Epstein’s perfectly describes the benefits of "a decentralized ad tech protocol with independently verified actors whose behavioral attributes and reputation are built over time is going to, ultimately, give people the real transparency they want and need to understand exactly who is paying for the ad they are seeing and whether or not that individual or company is trustworthy over a period of time."

The Economist aptly describes blockchain as "a trust machine."
