The World of Love and Charity - Clinic ni Kuya
Helping others in need is one of the great endeavors a human can do to his fellow. We are now living in the perilous time of which many were having criminal minds, greedy and lovers of money. Every day, we heard news about crimes, deaths, theft and evil things that happened in our surrounding. Just recently, there was mass shooting happened in South Florida School leaving 17 dead and 14 wounded. The culprit was a 19-year-old boy who has been kicked out of school plus added to his misery is that his mother has just died. We are the witnesses that we are living in the world of chaos and uncertainty. Some were pretending to be good and holy, hiding in the sheeps' clothing but inside them are wolves with evil intentions. They simply capture the hearts and minds of the innocent and make them his milking cow and be his blind followers.
In the midst of this evil world and greedy dogs, there will always someone to stand and ready to extend hands to the needy without any reservations nor asking for something in return. They offer their service freely especially to those who are less fortunate in life. They were ready even to offer their lives for their brethren and they really doing it, spending their time, money and strength for their fellowmen. That is how dedicated and serious they were in doing good and propagating love and charity to everybody.

Wish 107.5 FM bus - This is a radio booth that was carried by bus and the public can see their favorite artist inside it singing their favorite songs. It is a gateway to the world of stardom for the hidden talent of common people that have no capacity to achieve their dreams on their own. They gave also gifts to the charitable institution of which the artist had chosen. Currently, their youtube channel wish 107.5 garnered more than 2 million subscribers.
UNTVCup - This is a league of public servants wherein all the government department have their team to compete in the hard court. This is the only venue wherein they meet each other and have their day by playing basketball and whoever wins will have a prize to take home. The good thing about this concept was every team have chosen one charitable institution and whenever they won the game, that institution will have the lions' share of the prize. Just imagine, while they are playing on the hard court, they are also doing good to their fellowmen who are in need by winning the game. UNTVCup
UNTV News and Rescue - This is an unconventional way of reporting wherein all their news correspondent were undergone in medical and first aid training. They value life more than the scoop in news reporting. They assist those who are in an accident and deliver it to the nearest hospital to save lives. They have even ambulance and fire truck in the service for their fellowmen free of charge. UNTV News and Rescue
La Verdad Christian College - This is the first school in Philippine history that offers everything freely for you to finish your course. You have nothing to do but study hard since they offer everything for free. Free tuition fee, free uniform, free books and manual, free meal, free dormitory. Kuya Daniel is such an inspiration to most of us. I could recall him winning as a party-list representative in the past but politics in politics just took the seat from him until few months left in the supposed term. Having this though didnt stop Kuya Daniel to do acts of charity to fellow Filipino.
He serves with a heart, just like Brother Eli.
Speaking about charity, it is impossible not to ask: "is it so important in the modern world?"The question is quite justified. Because now is the era of progress, the world is ruled by market relations, and almost all Dating is based on mutual benefit. Perhaps in such a society, the charity has not lost its significance? The answer lies in the question itself. Yes, the world is now becoming much harsher, because capitalism and eternal competition has made us look like predators. But that is why good and mercy are so important now. Without them, people would long ago have gnawed each other's throats in pursuit of their piece of happiness. Charity is a deterrent barrier that does not allow humanity to fall into the abyss of their own ambitions and desires. It, as if a small raft, keeps us afloat in the sea of sins and vices. That is why the modern world is so greatly in need of such virtues as mercy. An example proving the truth of this statement can easily be found in real life. After all, every day someone commits an act of mercy towards others. This may be an ordinary alms to the poor or the collection of money for the needs of the orphanage.
"There's hope for humanity", that's what Bro. Eli Soriano and Kuya Daniel Razon made me realize when I first know about them. They set example instead of ranting on the streets. And despite of the unbecoming accusations thrown at them, they are always ready to lend a hand.

Yes indeed @elizahfhaye the bible referred to the times we are experiencing today as a perilous time that will be difficult to deal with. At 2Timothy 3:1-5, it actually said that "the love of many will grow cold..." In fact anyone showing love to one another in this perilous time is an exception to the norm or one in a millionth event. the world needs a better place for people to live in cos of too much sufferings going on in third world countries....thanks @elizafhaye for this post that gives hope to the hopeless

You are right. helping people in need is one of the ways to add value to life and make it worth living. Come to think of it..if we have the whole money in this world and all around is poverty and needy and unhappy people ..how Sweet can our lives be.?

You're right. This society has been damaged. People are now worse off than animals. There is no cost of living in this world. Money is more valuable than life.
