Take the case of Muhammad Essaa, a 3 ½ years old little boy who was experiencing bluish discoloration of his skin since birth. His medical analysis was done and he was diagnosed with Single Ventricular Anomaly. He was advised bilateral Bidirectional Glenn procedure for which he needed $4,471.46.
Transparent Hands setup his campaign and in a short time period, they were able to raise the required funds for his Surgery with the help of kind donors. His surgery was done at Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore on 9th, January 2018 by Dr. Salman A Shah. He had good post op recovery and remained admitted for 4 days. His cyanosis was improved and he was discharged in satisfactory condition.
The case of Zeeshan Ahmed was unusual for us in many ways. He was just 1 ½ years old when he was diagnosed with Congenital Cardiac Defect (involving Transposition of great arteries-TGA, Interventricular septum-IVS, Atrial septal defect-ASD, regressed Lt. Ventricle). He was advised surgery to correct the defect and relieve cyanosis.
His case was presented to Transaparent Hands and after due procedures, they setup his campaign. He needed $5,463 for which sensing the urgency of his need, a few of the supporting organizations of Transparent Hands and individual donors came together to put up the funds that were required.
His surgery was done at Ittefaq Hospital on 19th June 2017 by Dr. M.Asim Khan. His atrial switch senning was done and in 4 days, after a great post op recovery, he was discharged in good health.
Today, Zeeshan enjoys a life free of pain and is growing well into a bubbly toddler.
