I like it. Compared with other outreach and marketing, it should be fairly simple to attract some charities. Free money, right? Your idea of using certain tags is very appropriate, because these could really start to spam the forum if we got a lot of them suddenly. If all of us use some of our upvotes each day (10%?) on charities, then we really could grow that fundraising section.
