What I am about to share will tear your heart apart.....

Today, I was using Instagram while I was on my way to work and I chanced upon this couple's photo on Instagram's Sponsored Ad.

I was curious because, in my head, I was thinking: "Why would someone even advertise a photo of him and his girlfriend/wife on Instagram?"

I clicked the profile and saw this link in the bio. I clicked it.

For those of you who did not click on the link, here's a summary.

This couple has a 1-year-old son together and he was prematurely born last year in March 2017.
The couple struggled to take good care of their son throughout the entire period, sacrificing sleep & time just to ensure his safety. Unfortunately, the wife suffered Post Natal Depression after the birth of their son. Thus, she attempted suicide. Foruntately, she survived however she is currently in a coma state, suffering from severe brain damage...

The husband unfortunately lost his job as well.

This sentence by the husband broke my heart.

"I miss her vey much and will love her forever. We made a promise to grow old together and take care of each other forever when we are old and I'm not going to break that promise no matter what.

When I read that, my first thought was.... What would I do if this, unfortunately, happen to me.
Without second thoughts, I donated. I thought that maybe Steemit could be a good platform for me to raise even more awareness for this family.
