Junuary?

I live in a pretty amazing spot in the world. On the daily I am reminded of the immense privilege I have.

One of the beautiful benefits of this region is the hot dry summers... Typically. Now last year was an exception and actually I think that climate change is really shaking up the weather on this little Pacific Island.

Typically the rest of the year other than the two months of hot dry summer, it's raining. They call it "the wet coast" after all. It's not unusual for it to rain for two weeks in a row in January.

Rarely does it snow in this little Canadian paradise. And if it does, it's gone within a few days. A few days in a row below freezing js rare rare rare.

Less rare these days is the temperature in June barely getting into the teens and it raining a lot. A phenomena we have come to describe as Junuary.

Cold like January and a lot of rain, risk of frost.... This has been another one of those Junes it seems... Like last year.

Junuaries art becoming more and more common place in my part of the world. IMAG7975.jpg
