Difficulty level in life
Everyone knows intrinsically what level of difficulty their life is on. In this sense is it not different than many video games that have an easy medium hard or even extreme mode. This doesn’t change throughout the course of your life. Whatever you choose to do in life it will present challenges and the bigger the goal the bigger the challenges associated with it. Sometimes you can meet goals by yourself (internal spiritual goals, personal development, good eating habits etc) but sometimes it requires others in the outside world to achieve. But whatever you have to do the difficulty level does not usually change very easily.
If you grew up with difficult circumstances that won’t usually shift without an all-out spiritual effort on your part. You have to really work at building your life into something impenetrable in terms of your past karma, self-destructive habits and evil forces/people that may try and take you down. As much as we would like to think life was easier or simpler for people in past ages that just isn’t reality. If it wasn’t GMO foods and epidemic levels of greed we were fighting against it would the Black Plague or the local feudal lord or a rival tribe.
No human being escapes earthly reality without being tested or going through some form level of difficulty. Whatever your level is, you probably already know it, but only through facing it daily and growing stronger daily can you become successful. Otherwise, you are just throwing yourself into a Groundhog Day scenario expecting to wake up with a different you that has more motivation, easier circumstances and newer greater opportunities. But really it’s only through you changing yourself and doing good deeds that you generate those opportunities from the inside out.
Magic happens when you put the peddle to the middle and drive headlong towards your destiny.... otherwise reality becomes a bad rerun. Hence most people are so bored and confused by this that they turn to antidepressants and drugs .... what was once a small problem is now a huge battle all because you decided to wait for reality to fix yourself instead of taking the hard road of the individualistic destiny that was handed to you.
