We all have a share of what spammers are up to in our post and how quick they are. Its even harder to differentiate human and bots because of them are extremely fast. In today's challenge, I decide to write about spammers/fake follower here on steemit and the best way to avoid them and not wasting your valuable time engaging them on your post.. First lets
Who is a fake follower?
This a person who comes to your blog just because he/she hears you have good SP and despite that doesn't contribute anything valuable or reasonable to your post. They are as fast as bot in typing and you see them mostly at the top of your post because they upvoted their own comment.
How to spot a fake follower
They input in every discussion is always short and below are the common words used:
*Nice post
*Good job
*I like you post
*I voted for you, please vote me
*Very interesting
*I just resteem your work
*Follow me, I just followed you
*You are a good man etc.
How best can one handle a fake follower?
Asking the person a question about your post in his comment to your post.
Advising the person to deviate from such act
3.After subsequently advise and no adherence, Ignore the person
Stop upvoting such short meaningless contribution
5.Flag the comment
Report to Steemcleaner because they are spammers.
When all these are noticed, I simply ignore and use that time to go read something meaningful
One good friend is better than 10 bad/fake friends. Your true friends always make the right contribution or say in the right words and have the same drive towards thesame goal. They are always on the look out for you.
