First regulated bond in ethereum
Blockchain startup Nivaura, announced today the first regulated bond denominated in Ethereum. The bond will be cleared, settled and registered on the blockchain, a first step in removing the need of central securities depositories, and will be created under the oversight of the FCA (financial regulatory body in the UK).
The bond is mainly experimental, as it has a very short lifecycle (one week only). Nevertheless this is a major achievement for the blockchain technologies.
