30 Day Challenge - Day 3 - Sleeping
Ever since I got home from work today I have just been pretty lazy in bed napping the day away and watching TV. I realized it was about time I stopped being lazy and write my post for the challenge today. Well we have to talk about something in detail so I thought of something that kind of pertains to how my day has been; sleep.
Sleep is a really interesting thing when you think about it. We all need it to some extent, right? I have some friends that will want to sleep in every chance they get. Sometimes they end up sleeping well past noon and over half the day is gone by the time they get up. I'm kind of the opposite when it comes to that. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE sleeping just as much as the next person, but I also hate it. I am so excited by life and I feel like that I never have enough time in the day to get everything that I want done. Why sleep when I can be awake doing something?
Well I think the real problem is that there are always things that I want to do. For example, after work today I went to the gym for a little bit then came home. I checked Steem and started looking at all the posts that I might have missed when I was at work from some of the people that I love to follow here! That actually takes QUITE some time now that I am following a lot of different users pretty consistently. It is definitely something that I look forward to everyday so I really enjoy it. THEN I'll wanna watch TV or catch up with my family and eat dinner. By the time all that is done, it is almost time to go to bed for the next work day! A lot of the time I just end up on Steemit again browsing new posts to meet more users and end up staying up WAY too late. That is when I only end up getting 5-6 hours of sleep compared to the 8 I'm probably supposed to get! I don't mind though, I try to maximize the time I have to do the things I love obviously!
So now I'd like to turn it over to you all. How much sleep do you all usually get per night, and do you feel the same way that I do about how I just rather be awake doing things than asleep? Also, if anyone actually knows some science behind people's sleep patterns and what not, feel free to share in the comments!
