You’ve may have seen some posts about a rap challenge popping here and there. (It might be a coincidence that on the 4th of July I tackle rap, one of the most USAish things in the world) This challenge is done by @rondonson.

Ron is one example how choices affect our life, especially the bad ones. He did some serious wrong things with his life and the life of the ones surrounding him. He did drugs, he was an addict. Being a low life, even his mother kicked him out of the house, seeing no hope in him getting better. For his addiction he even stole her jewelry. Imagine to steal from you own mother. Due to these continuous wrongdoings, he got in jail.
One might say that this is so bad, but for this guy it was redemption. He got rid of his drug addiction and luckily got another, the addiction to be better and to improve. By doing this he is sharing and helping others. The catalyst to achieve it is music. He managed to recover and prove everybody wrong.

I like addicts, addicts have the means to change the world with their stubbornness. If the addiction is focused in a good way it can move mountains. 💪🏼👍
He joined SteemIt and started this rap challenge, which weekly brings new talents to shine⭐️. A lot of minnows find their way through this, as being a minnow might be confusing. Minnows “battle” hard in this challenge and the competition is growing week by week. Besides the competition, @rondonson tells open about his life, blunt and directly. 😎
I featured him in this series for being a good example on how change your life by choices, how to be a high runner even as a minnow and how to give back to the community and to involve so many steemians in a project.
