Age
Who knew how quickly time would pass? This photo is from the hippie era - I was just taking a snapshot of friends chillin’ to some music. It was 1969 or 70 and I was in my very young 20s. Then, in my 40s, I produced this rather cheesy video below of a man reflecting on age. Now, as I inch toward 70 and mourn David Bowie’s death (and his recent birthday, where he would have turned 70), that of Leonard Cohen, Glen Frey and others of my past and present who are my peers, I don’t know how I got here so quickly. I hope any who read this who are young appreciate their youth - it goes swiftly.
I was in primary at that time and starting to play the guitar and sing with my cousins at night when the moon is bright. I remember operating the gramophone during weekends in my aunt's house when they had the dance party and I played John Lennon's "Imagine". I love music so much even then.
That's one of my favorite tunes - "Imagine." Love the guitar!
