Would you like to get paid for scouting out great content?

We're looking for human curators to help find and reward top-notch freelancing content, and we're going to be passing rewards to those curators! This will be a new permanent challenge, and every week, we'll collect submissions to be compiled into a curation article. Everyone who takes part will be rewarded, and anyone can participate, so get ready for

There is tons of great content being published daily, though much of it goes unnoticed.

Talented freelancers are offering services, and there are people searching for people to complete tasks, though a lot of these posts get buried in the feeds they're contained in. We want to help fix that, and incentivize those willing to get involved. The amount of SteemPower you have is one of the things that affects how much you earn in "curation rewards" by upvoting a post, so minnows don't typically earn very much. We want to give minnows, dolphins, and whales alike an extra level of rewards for curating great content.

Here's how it works:

• Find a post about freelancing that you think deserves more attention. This must be a post written by someone else
  The freelancing niche covers many topics. Here are some of the things we're looking for:
  • Someone offering or requesting a product or service for STEEM/SBD
  • Posts talking about a service completed for another Steemian (testimonials)
  • Freelancing career advice or tips/tricks
  • Even posts about the logistics and/or theory surrounding freelancing!

• Put a link to that post in the comments below with a quick 2 or 3 sentence summary or explanation of that post.
  The summary is very important, as it will be included in the curation article, allowing our readers to understand what the post is about at a glance. We're not in the business of posting lists of links with no context and calling it curation.
  Only one person can curate a given post, and submissions will be taken on a first-posted, first-included basis.

• Valid submissions will receive a 1%-5% upvote on the submitted comment, depending on the quality of the submission, at our discretion.
  This tiny upvote is currently worth little to nothing, but is only intended as a means of rewarding everyone who participates in this challenge. As our influence grows, this participation reward will obviously grow.

• We will compile up to the top 10 submissions into a curation article, and share the rewards with those who wrote them!
  If your submission is chosen to be included in one of our posts, that post will receive a 50%-100% upvote from @steemfreelancers, and the vote on your submission comment will be increased to within the same range. (Again, this is based on quality, at the discretion of the SFG team member who is applying the vote.)
  75% of the liquid reward for each curation post will be split among those who's submissions were included.

Simple enough, right?

We will start this challenge on a weekly time-frame, but recognize the conflicts that could cause with the payout windows of posts we're curating. If we wait a week to post some of the things curated on day one, they may be past their payout date before they're included in our article. To counter this, we will likely move to a twice-weekly schedule to be able to include everything. In order to achieve this, though, we will need plenty of people out there finding great content to promote! Do your part, and you will reap what you sow.
