Tide Pod Challenge - The New Teen Challenge
There has been quite a few challenges presented by teens that were for a good cause, but I don't think this Tide challenge benefits anyone. Quite stupid actually.
Not long ago there was the gallon challenge, the cinnamon challenge, and one that caused much destruction was the bath-salt challenge.
But now these crazy kids have come up with the very dumb idea to challenge one another to eating pods of laundry detergent. I'm not quite sure if brand matters or if you need to rinse your mouth out with fabric softener, but nevertheless, it is quite stupid.
I'm sure I don't have to tell you all that this is not only stupid, but quite harmful also.

Great post on a strange, yet relevant problem with today's teens?? How did this ever become a thing?! Makes me wonder about the quote "the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow"...

People actually do this? This has to be one of the stupidest things I have ever seen! Some of the challenges I understand doing, but this has absolutely no benefit and has some serious risks associated with it! I will need to talk to my siblings and make sure they never attempt this "stunt". It is unfortunate that stunts like this are glorified by all of the YouTube video like and possibility of going viral for their 15 minutes of fame.
