How good is your English? Can you find out what the title of this post means? In the link below you will find 22 well known phrases, expressed in less common words. They form a puzzle for you to find out what the popular phrases are. Are you up to it?
This challenging yet fun-filled puzzle was emailed to me by my good friend, Sammy, some 9 years ago and I just happened to stumble upon it while I was looking for something that I think will be worth your while to post. I searched the internet for the link and sure enough I found it! The title of this post is also a very very popular phrase that most children would know and be able to sing to. "Scintillate, Scintillate, Asteroid Minific" actually stands for "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." Did you get it?
Okay, the picture above actually is a dead giveaway to the answer. How about this next one?
"Members of an avian species of identical plummage congregate."
Have fun as I did while at the same time brushing up on your English skills. Check the link Here for an enjoyable time. See how many correct answers you can get. Don't look at the solutions just yet. You'll be surprised it will turn out much easier than you think.
