STEEMBALL-WEEKLY STEEM FANTASY BASEBALL LEAGUE

Welcome to the simplest, most fun, least time consuming way to play Fantasy Baseball AND IT'S BASED ON STEEMIT!

The Rules

INITIAL DRAFT/AUCTION
-PLACE A BID ON ANY MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYER, STARTING AT 0.5 STEEM BY TRANSFERRING BID AMOUNT TO @cryptkeeper17. If another bidder outbids you for a player, you will get a refund and a notice in the memo. The highest bid as of 3/27/18, 8am central time, will be considered the final winning bid for the players,

AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE GAMES ON SUNDAY NIGHT (FOLLOWING THE ESPN BROADCAST-AS OF 8AM CENTRAL TIME MONDAY MORNING),

-THE HITTER LISTED WITH THE HIGHEST WAR* TOTAL (for the season up to that point) IN MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL, WINS THE FULL STEEM DOLLAR PAYOUT FOR THE WEEKLY POST.

-THE PITCHER WITH THE HIGHEST MLB WAR* TOTAL AS WELL FOR THE SEASON (for the season up to that point) WILL GET THE FULL STEEM PAYOUT FOR THE POST. If there is a tie then the payout will be split between the two owners. *WAR (wins above replacement) stat based from www.fangraphs.com is the determining number.

-Contest goes on throughout the season, owners may own more than one player at a time, a roster of all players and owners will be posted each week. Winners will be determined by the highest MLB WAR totals among players owned by the league. Bids are placed by transferring to this account, winner (if a tie bid) is determined that coming Monday before the start of the games that week. Losing bid(s) are of course refunded. All participants eligible to win must UPVOTE the weekly challenge post. If you fail to do so that week you are ineligible to win that week.

--THE BIDDING FOR THE PLAYERS WILL BEGIN NEXT WEEK, ON THE POST FOLLOWING THIS ONE, AS I WILL POST THE PROJECTED TOP 60-100 PLAYERS**
HIGHEST BID/TRANSFER FOR EACH PLAYER AS OF MIDNIGHT (12AM CENTRAL US TIME) LANDS THEM ON THEIR ROSTER FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON. ALL PLAYERS NOT BID ON ARE FREE AGENTS AND MAY BE BID UPON THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SEASON. PLAYERS ARE NOT ABLE TO BE TRADED/TRANSFERABLE. **According to Fangraphs projected list.

A hypothetical:
LET'S SAY OWNER A HAS MIKE TROUT ON THEIR ROSTER, AND HE HAS THE HIGHEST WAR TOTAL FOR ALL MLB HITTERS FOR WEEK1, OWNER A UPVOTED THE POST, THEN OWNER A IS THE WINNER OF POST TOTAL STEEM DOLLAR PAYOUT OF THE POST.
LET'S SAY OWNER B HAS CLAYTON KERSHAW ON THEIR ROSTER, HE IS THE #3 RATED MLB PITCHER WAR IN BASEBALL, BUT THE HIGHEST RANKED PLAYER ANYONE IN THE LEAGUE HAS ON THEIR ROSTER. OWNER B UPVOTED the league post in time, so OWNER B IS THE WINNER BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE HIGHEST RATED PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE ON THEIR ROSTER.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS, RESTEEM, WE NEED A MINIMUM OF 16 OWNERS IN THE LEAGUE TO GET IT STARTED. REMEMBER ALSO, ANYONE CAN JOIN AT ANY POINT OF THE SEASON IF THEY ARE THE WINNING BIDDER OF A PLAYER. SHOULD I, @cryptkeeper17 choose to join, my bid will be placed in the comment section so that everyone is able to see for the sake of transparency. Should I have the high bid, first my 0.40steempower will go to the grand prize total, and any extra will paid out evenly in shares back to all the owners in the league.

THE GRAND PRIZE:
THE OWNERS WITH THE SINGLE PLAYER WITH THE HIGHEST WAR (BATTERS) AND THE SINGLE PLAYER WITH THE HIGHEST WAR (PITCHERS) FOLLOWING THE COMPLETION OF THE REGULAR SEASON WILL EACH SPLIT (WHATEVER THE NUMBER IS) 0.4STEEM TIMES THE TOTAL NUMBER OF OWNERS IN THE LEAGUE.
