I agree with you on being careful with these things. However I have been holding CHC for a good few months now and continue to buy. The CHC team have a roadmap up and they are working slowly but surely on reviving and making CHC something valuable for everyday use. Also the website was a total overhaul from what they had before. What you are seeing being pushed is more or a pump and hold scheme. I am invested I don't day trade. Masternode coins have value so thats why I am in on this one. But yes in this space proceed with caution.
