The way the content is organized I'd say is it's primary feature. It organizes and groups specific tags together to present smaller collections of topics. As for other features that don't exist on steemit.com, there aren't any at the moment, though I have some plans.
Steemit.com does much more than chainBB does at the moment. It's got a year+ head start on development and a much larger team :)

@jesta I see that makes sense. If I understand it correctly, Steemit would be like the new Facebook, while chainBB would be like the new Reddit?
