College Football Blog - Development and Recruiting Authors

in #chainbb7 years ago (edited)

Greetings, this summer I will be working with @aismith, @plumeria, & @pikake to present on a weekly basis our analysis on any number of college football match-ups, handicapping each game with a projection for final score, at the half, and the over-under. We are looking for authors who can provide up-to-date information and commentary on specific teams. The authors selected need to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the team they are covering, track injuries, coaches, they type of offense and defense being used, identify weaknesses and strengths on a position basis, If possible provide video footage to support analysis position analysis or identification of key plays.

We will be recommending that the audience follow all of the selected authors (we will also be voting and resteeming for each of these selected authors), and for each game we will each be adding the name of the author to follow for specific match-ups and if someone develops the code, provide a link to your specific post .

If you are interested, reply to this post with a short description of the teams you want to cover, and we will review your blog. If you haven't done a sports report in the past we will work with you on the format we are looking for.

Please help push this project forward by resteeming and upvoting this post so we can reach as many potential authors possible.

I love it. I want you to visit my blog too

I visited your blog, this is the first time I have ever heard of Aceh. So you are already unique! Cheers!

I've played football for a couple years so have knowledge in the basics on the game. I also bet on websites like Draftkings for the NFL so im confterable with advanced stats from companies like ProFootballFocus and FootballOutsides.
If you feel I would be a quality candidate let me know.

Which team are you most familiar with?

I don't follow College Football as much as NFL but do have some knowledge in schools like Alabama and Michigan, which the Ravens, my favorite team have ties too.

Bama and the Wolverines would be highly scrutinized posts, as a quick pick, what do you think will be the achilles heel for both of those teams going into their first game?

I'd say both teams had some of the highest amount of players drafted into the league Alabama, 10(school record) And Michigan 11(another school record), So overcoming that aspect will be huge......10/11 players is a quarter of starters!!!

How would you write that in a post? We both know what happens when you have lots of new starters, but as a sample (one or two lines) how would you put a positive spin on Bama, and a negative spin on Michigan? For instance if I were to write it up;

The lines are drawn over Jim Harbaugh's fresh line-up as the Wolverines take on the Gators who will be looking for revenge after taking a shellacking in the Citrus Bowl last year. Harbaugh has never been a shy coach when it comes to making big changes in personnel but the key match-up will be...etc
