i think everyone starts to panic when it dips from people selling it to go into ethereum and then everyone else starts selling it too, but the lowest it will go is probably around $1500, then flatline and spike back up to over $5000 later this year or early next year
I don't think it is going to collapse, that's just a normal retracement for something that rises from $300 till now. In fact, it starts rising again now and I even did not have the opportunity to buy some more for myself.
yeah bro you are right, look at it now, bitcoin seems back to the right track, climing up and reached 27xx today, it's good to see so. However, the price of ETH / LTC / XRP or any other altcoins are relatively low. Let's see how it goes, the problem of poloniex also annoying me, hopefully it will be fixed soon.
we can see that after the crash in both btc and eth, btc recovery way slower than eth and the price is still suffering from a bumpy ride... good luck guys.
I'm going to bet that this is being done on purpose. They just spook everyone into dumping and buy at rock bottom prices. One article from a mining company and everyone loses their shit? Seems fishy. This could be a huge collapse that never recovers, but I have a hard time believing it at this stage.
I'm pretty sure this is set up too. A combination of that and the fork/segwit issue. IMO if btc bounces of 2000+ $ it is extremely bullish. I know a lot of people owning bitcoin, and none of them are selling. If we're getting rid of weak hands at this moment, I'm sure you can breathe out in a couple of weeks or even days. I think theres gonna be a bumpy ride all the way up to 10k plus. At some point it will be more stable, but thats in years.

I am more concern about the forcast for steemit, should i be holding on to my sbd or convert them to steem or steem power, i currently have earned a little so i dont know which is the best choice for me.
Or should i be converting them to other cryptocurrency such as bitcoin or etherium??

There is many concerns on the price of sbd, especially after the hf 19 has been launched. Honestly, I expect sbd's price will decrease for a period of time, I did convert some of mine into btc and further invest in eth and ltc. Other than that, you may also consider converting some of your sbd into SP, it brings great influence after launching the HF19.

I think $2000 should act as a decent support for btc
It won't collapse. It might go below $2000, but at some point opportunity will arise and the tide will turn. That being said, I'm not sure about the long term prospects of Bitcoin, but it won't go down in a strike.
Someone will take a profit, the price begins to rise again as soon as it bought back...In steemit I see this too. someone is selling off a large quantity, the price should be go down, and then again to buy cheaply... Just this .
