ChainBB - Is there a lag on ChainBB?!
as outlined in this post, I am planning to use chainBB as a voting-tool while the power-slider remains unavailable to me on steemit.com.
Since taking this idea into action, i have noticed though, that the most recent comments and posts i tried to vote on, were not (yet) available on chainBB.
To me it looks as if chainBB is at least a few hours behind on the blockchain.
Is there a temporary issue or is this a permanent thing?
chainbb is supposed to show all steem-posts, right?

P.S.: even this post, posted from chainBB itself, wasn't available there and i am now back on steemit editing it!
Yup, it fell behind because the steemd instance behind it stopped working.
You may notice it's slowly catching back up, we're about an hour behind now and slowly creeping towards "now". It should be caught up again here soon!

Yeah it was down, the database service stopped for some reason and didn't autorestart. It's back now, and I'm looking into how to prevent this from happening again.
Edit - Looks like by default the DB didn't have the restart flag enabled on the service. That's fixed.

@jesta It seems it might be doing it again. I am finding things that are on Steemit are not here...comments to be precise.
yeah, I noticed some lagging behind, too yesterday...
the steemd instance seems to do that from time to time... usually it catches up within less than half an hour again.
None of my comments from yesterday or Today are showing up.
hmm... yeah... it has these hick-ups from time to time...
just try again in a few hours...
