In recent weeks there have been constant disappearances of Mayan idols displayed in different museums around the world. Experts say that both in the Popol Vuh, and in innumerable stelae present in several Mayan cities, the disappearance of idols is spoken of as the definitive sign of the return of creators to Earth.

It has been said that the videos are false, viralized on the Internet in the face of the commotion that the mystery surrounding this case has raised. However, official sources from the museums involved have admitted that these videos are real, although they have refused to make statements.
Historians specialized in Mayan culture agree in giving an explanation to what happened, although due to the questionable conclusions they have reached, they have preferred not to offer any official press conference. There are those whom these ideas may seem the product of a mind far removed from reality, but it is important to emphasize that Professor Barreda is a scholar in the field and is also a personality endorsed and recognized by the entire international scientific community. For years she has headed the Archeology Department of the University of Mérida. In addition, she is responsible for more than half of the archaeological sites that currently exist in the Yucatan Peninsula. She has published acclaimed articles in specialized journals, two of them in the Science Journal. She is also a member and speaker of the international committee of historians and archaeologists.
She has insisted that she does not fear at all the consequences of the statements she has made, as she says, time always puts things in their place and brings out the truths of life regardless of the strength with which try to hide them.
