I may not agree with his posts but they do not deserve to be flagged. the people doing it are saying it is because of "hate speech". that is a bull shit reason to censor someone. even if you disagree with what he was posting, please help upvote his post to make it not invisible.

This makes me think of how we're supposed to put NSFW warnings on graphic posts here, but not somebody shouting out too many hate words abruptly, when it's unclear at first.
And I wasn't trying to get it censored or make him invisible or his future on the site destroyed like other people seem to think should be done, that is way wrong. My problem was just with the post not being labelled and sounding so violent. I wasn't sure that particular post. Now that I read it with his poet voice, yes it's entirely different. Again, my bad on that.

I do not think anyone should be flagged out of opinion. Even if it wasent a poetic piece i would still try to get rid of the flagging.
Just my opinion though. Thank you again for removing the flag and if anyone is ever flagging you let me know and ill try to get people to reverse it.
This one is on the borderline for me for a few reasons:
Had the post been a call to action for killing black folk, a flag in that case would have been fine by my lights. If the post was about how "blacks were inferior" or some nonsense like that, I'm back on the borderline...yes that is hate speech, but it's also stupid speech; leave it open and let commenters rip it apart.
But this post? I didn't see it as a call to action, and other than the word itself, not clear in purpose. After @nommo explained, I understood the intent.
Keep up the anti-censorship work.

Maybe we should ask the devs to require a minimum number of flags to be used before a post is muted. It would cut down on both troll and sjw abuse.
And let's not use the sjw label, as it is wrong on all 3 counts. instead, we should refer to them as Fainting Couch Cows

I can understand why people that aint black themselves get worked up over the term. But in the end, you are right. Good ideas are traded in free speech only, and bad ideas are exposed only with free speech.
