It's a tool that has been used for more than a year now to help fighting for privacy. It is called ZKC.

That aims to replace services like IRC,SMTP, IMAP and others

    We intentionally did not create mobile apps because mobile devices are insecure by design. Most mobile devices are effectively optionally-turned-on videocameras with microphones, GPS, gyroscope, and an unauditable data uplink. This does not mean mobile apps will not happen in the future, but if you’re serious about secure comms, you should not be using a mobile device.

    This is religion, not science.
