Celestial challenge - AGRICULTURE MECHANIZATION.. A NEW YEAR APPROACH.
Let's talk about mechanization in agriculture today!
Thanks to @sirknight for the initiation of this #celestialchallenge where we get to appreciate and talk about agriculture.
Having a government that invests a lot in the agricultural sector is something that should be commended as the future of a nation no matter how technologically advanced or otherwise, depends on how much it is able to feed itself and it's resources.
The embracing of mechanized farming though very expensive, is something that is 'long term'. You never can tell the extent of agricultural progress the adoption can bring. It spans through all sectors of the economy even down to the minimum wage implementation.
It has really been blissful to see how mechanization has transformed agriculture. The introduction of this technology in Nigeria caused a tremendous boost in farm produce and even had a way of creating jobs even in the agricultural sector of the Nation.
Agricultural mechanization has really evolved. This evolution has not been done by hoping. It has been done by continual innovation and persistent work by certain individuals and agencies.
Don't just fold your hands and eat good food because you are privileged to be able to buy them... Try to do something for agriculture by starting from your backyard to your neighbourhood and even unto agencies.
Your little effort and mine becomes a collective effort and together we will be able to make food readily available for even the less previledged.
Practice homesteading. You will reduce the burden on the government and grow the kinds of food you want to eat. You too can be a key to food sufficiency in your home.

Starting a small market farm. No till strategy. I’m no against tractors but using small machines, like two wheel tractors, broadforks, and tarps or more sustainable and appropriate for those with a small land base(less than an acre). Great post.
