Hello Steemians, I will be taking part in the #celestialchallenge originated by the surprisingly handsome @sirknight.

I will be writing about 2 Beautiful Structures in the world. I have been to one and I hope to see the other someday.

#1:The National Theatre,Lagos

Have you ever been to Lagos,Nigeria? The economic hub of West Africa.Lagos is the beauty of my country because it represents what Nigeria stands for - which is beauty and hardwork. It also houses The National Theatre, which is one the most beautiful architectural work in the country dating far back as 1976 and constructed by the then government in power. The National Theatre is a national symbol in my country because it is a major tourist center. It is located in Iganmu,Onikan. Lagos is a place divided into two parts - Mainland and Island. Meanwhile, the location of The National Theatre is the boundary between the two parts of the State making it easily accessible to all. The beauty of The National Theatre is in its roof and facade. The roof was designed in wave-like manner in a oval shape and the facade is another beauty to behold as it was segmented into different equal parts with some segments taller than the other. It is such a beauty to behold.

#2: THE LOUVRE PYRAMID

In my opinion, if you have visited Paris and did not visit the Louvre Pyramid then you wasted the money you spent on flight. According to Wikipedia,

The Louvre Pyramid is a large glass and metal pyramid designed by Chinese-American architect I.M. Pei, surrounded by three smaller pyramids, in the main courtyard of the Louvre Palace (Palais du Louvre) in Paris. The large pyramid serves as the main entrance to the Louvre Museum. It was completed in 1989.

Next to the Eiffel Tower,The Louvre Pyramid is the most visited tourist center in Paris. I love the pyramid because it looks exactly like the Great Pyramid of Giza, the difference been it was constructed with glass.
One day, I hope to visit this beautiful piece of architecture.
