Forgiveness
They say time heals all wounds. It is not easy to truly forgive someone who have wronged you especially if they do it over and over again especially when that person is a part of who you are. I have my own fair share of being bullied, misjudged, humiliated in public but I prefer to forgive. I chose to forgive for my peace of mind because I want to feel whole and to move on from the past. I can not change the past - what has been said and done but I can take control of my future my letting all my bitterness and grudges out of my life. Yes, it is not easy but holding on to anger and resentment is more damaging. It is like holding a hot charcoal, the more I hold on to it, the more I get burned. Bitterness just slows me down. It doesn't matter how many times I forgive, because if that someone is having fun just to make life miserable, then it's their problem because they chose bitterness to envelope them.
Let's move forward. Set yourself free. Pray and Forgive.
Matthew 18: 21-22
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times? “Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times."
