Zamuro

Today begins the week and as many in the community I love participating in the challenges that have emerged over the months. Today I read about the #celestialchallenge and I decided to participate.

I want to show you a somewhat dark and curious animal, which I had as a pet for three days, then my mother took him out of the house, his name was "Pasita" and he was my partner when he was 12 years old.

We all get scared, or at least we get overwhelmed, when we see a zamuro because we know that nearby there is decomposed material, be it a human corpse, or an animal, and it is understood why they feed on carrion.

Like every bird associated with the turbulent, because of its closeness to death, the zamuros are told legends, as described by Mercedes Franco in his "Dictionary of ghosts, mysteries and legends of Venezuela" where in the section referred to the zamuros notes that : "If they make a nest near a house, it is necessary to drive them away, because it will bring death and desolation"

These photos are from my authorship taken in December 2017 in Gran Sabana - Venezuela

Never seen this kind of crow. Really beautiful post. You mentioned the crow in the Native American culture. In her autobiography Wilma Mankiller describes her tragic encounter with crows the night before she nearly died... But the birds are so beautiful.

NO DOUBT IS THE COMPETENCE THAT MORE ATTENTION CALLS, THE WHOLE WORLD IS WONDERFUL BECAUSE IT BEGINS, CONGRATULATIONS.
