The Liger

As interesting as the name, the animal is a cross breed of lion and tiger. This crossbreed cat is also referred as the largest cat in the world having both the characteristics of its parent the liger enjoys swimming like a tiger and socializing like a lion. Hercules is the current Guinness world book record holder of being the largest liger which claims to be a complete accident weighing weight 418.2 KG. A liger as an interesting characteristic of increasing 1 kg every second day after its born. Despite its huge size it can run upto 80 km/h ,The roar of the liger sounds more like the roar of a lion but it can sound like the roar of a tiger as well in some situations.
