The Lightning of the Catatumbo is a natural phenomenon that produces many electrical storms in the basin of the lake Of Maracaibo, in the fishing village Congo mirador, pertaining to the Zulia state in Venezuela.

After 20 hours nature is paralyzed in the Venezuelan West, as a natural phenomenon makes history to become the first event in the world with the highest average lightning known as the Catatumbo Lightning or Maracaibo Lighthouse. This phenomenon is very simple to appreciate from several kilometers away, as from Cúcuta, in Colombia, or from the lake itself where there are usually no clouds at night.
