This wednesday-structures(day of mercury), I want to share everyone on #celestialcontest hosted by @sirknight about Taj Mahal one of the 7 wonders of the world.

Why is it symbolized as the monument of eternal Love and why I/we should not agree with it.

The twist in the backstory and background of this Mausoleum and the misconception of definition in Love itself.

You may have visited this magnificent tomb at Agra, India or maybe someday soon you plan to, in either of the cases you should know this little story. I as an Indian am inclined to tell you about this beautiful structure and contrarily ugly story behind it and the irony in symbolising it to Love. The breathtaking architecture, adorable embellishments, fine crafts work, interiors and the real real strenuous work of thousands of people who involved in constructing the beautiful and off course the creative work of Shah Jahan is plausible.

The love story:

  It was love at first sight when he met Mumtaz mahal a married wife the first time, As the king, his desires has to be met. To get her in his arms, he killed her husband also murdered her kid and most likely forcefully abducted her, Wow, So much of love. Yea wait there's more to it, story has it that he also chopped off the thumb of the chief architect and arms of the workers and in the process kills many hundreds. Myth or not the truth about tajmahal is constant "No it is not a symbol of Love":- It is a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection; and “the unselfish concern for the good of another“. Love may also be described as actions towards others or oneself based on compassion, or as actions towards others based on affection. Mumtaz was one of the many wives of Shah jahan which cost lives of many lot to abduct her.   

The Love story seems shady afterall. Below is a misty picture of the beautiful Taj taken in the morning.

So friends if you happen to visit this impressive tomb anytime remember to not let the tour-guide or anyone brainwash you saying this mausoleum is the symbol of true Love. Because it isn't.
