Many are the stories of people who receive who have heard and seen the delight. It is not just old stories to scare children in rural settlements to approach the rivers. It is said that these strange beings are a kind of protective elves of the rivers and of the Venezuelan nature. They often appear in the darkness of the jungle frequently.
. Sometimes, it becomes children who cry and cry and come to them, the curious take the scare of their lives because they do not find anything.
People have said that when the charmed people move out of a pond, it dries up. The local legend refers to three types of enchanted, black, white and Indian. When some of them fall in love with a human being, they do everything possible to take them to their haunted world, catching sounds and colors, scented smells and songs that disorient the person in time and space. These strange beings are bothered by the bad smells, the sensation, the burning, the garlic, the salt and the manure. For this reason, many villagers when they enter these lands, carry a large amount of garlic and salt, thus preventing them from being charmed.
