Chris Evans and Jenny Slate are back together

Chris Evans and Jenny Slate are starting things off — again — with a clean slate.

The couple has rekindled their relationship less than a year after calling it quits last February, People reports.

Slate, who met her Captain America beau on the set of their movie "Gifted," was recently spotted helping him hunt down a new pad in Tribeca, where he'll be headquartered during his stint in "Lobby Hero" on Broadway.

Rumors that Evans, 36, and Slate, 35, were back together kicked off last month when the two exchanged a series of flirty messages on Twitter.

"The theme song to Mash stresses me out. The Pavlovian response is that it's time to go to bed and I probably haven't done my homework," Evans tweeted.

"Probably haven't"???? Cmon, Christopher. Have you done your homework or haven't you? It's 7pm and you've had the whoooole weekend. Cmon," Slate replied, before Evans jokingly suggested they cut class together.

Another tweet from Slate earlier this month confirmed that she was in a relationship — leading many to believe that she and Evans were back together and that love was not, in fact, dead.

"My boyfriend does many dreamy & generous things but number 1 in my mind right now is how he celebrates my new turtlenecks/let's me show him my online shopping spoils & cheers me on," she wrote.

A reconciliation between the two never seemed too far off, as both actors continued to gush over the other during their time apart.

Slate gave a highly complimentary interview to Vulture in March about her ex, and said she fell for his unpretentious nature.

"He's really vulnerable, and he's really straightforward," she said. "He's like primary colors. He has beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he's really sure of them. It's just wonderful to be around. His heart is probably golden-colored, if you could paint it."

She said their initial split came because they were "very, very different," but that she hoped they'd be able to be friends one day.

Evans, too, only had kind words for Slate.

"She's so vulnerable, so honest, so interested in other people more than herself, she's incredibly compassionate, there's just nothing to not love about her," he told People in March, while calling her his "favorite human."

Evans (and his beard, which has gained a legion of fans online) can next be seen in "Avengers: Infinity War," out in May.
