**WE ARE ALL RITUALISTS!!**

I am sure a number of us grew up thinking that rituals were some sort of evil crafts performed by some persons (maybe some kind of of initiates). Among some less tolerant societies, the purported ritualists are often completely avoided or are made to suffer what one technically would refer to as ostracism.

Consequently, however, what if I told you that we all are ritualists? Shocked?! Would you even believe me? Well, the unadulterated truth is that we all are RITUALISTS! A closer look at the day to day events in our lives is just enough to substantiate what you may almost call a blunt accusation. For instance, when we wake up each morning, we find ourselves in a regularly repeated cycle of events such as, saying of early morning prayers, visiting the restroom, eating our breakfast et al. Now, those are exactly what rituals are!

In a more expounded sense, rituals are activities we do repeatedly periodically in a sequential order. According to http://www.cyberwitchcraft.com/rituals.html, "This may seem over simplified, but ritual is anything you do frequently and almost always the same way each time. A perfect example of a ritual everyone does on a daily basis is your morning routine.
When you wake up you take a shower. After the shower you dry and comb or brush your hair. Satisfied (or not) with that, you brush your teeth, then shave if you’re male, or put on makeup if you’re female. You get dressed and may grab something to eat on your way to work.
Now the exact order of these events will vary from person to person, but most likely, you do these same events exactly the same way, in exactly the same order, every day. Some people will add events, or subtract them. I know one woman who after her shower moisturized her entire body with lotion, then lets it dry before getting dressed
."
Do you now agree that we all are ritualists?

A more closer example we well relate to is the widely celebrated christmas which is symbolic of the birth of Christ. Christians worldwide set aside the 25th of the the twelfth month(December)of every year to commemorate the birth of this great man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Now, this is ritual on a larger scale.

With the above underscored understanding, as a proud ritualist, I join every ritualist worldwide to celebrate this great day. A day a great man was symbolically brought into this world. A day the greatest celebrity that still lives was symbolically born. A day God took up the human form so he could save man from eternal damnation.
The world calls him the the PRINCE OF PEACE.
