Great Thursday, also called Holy Thursday or Pure Thursday, is the Thursday of Holy Week (the last six days of Lent before Easter), the first day of the Easter triumph (Easter Triduum). On this day, remember the Last Supper and the establishment by Jesus Christ of the sacrament of the Eucharist - Holy Communion.

In the morning, a special mass of the consecration of the world is served in the cathedrals by the bishops. The priests at this Mass renew the vows they brought at ordination.

In the evening, Mass of the memoirs of the Last Supper is served, during which the priests perform the ritual washing of the feet for the parishioners.
