Rhet's Big Birthday Bash

My baby boy will be turning 4 in May! Every birthday is big but this year is extremely big! Once he turns 4 years old we will hopefully be done with his clubfoot treatment. We're going to throw a huge party to celebrate that he made it. At the end of his clubfoot treatment he will get to sleep like a normal kid. His feet will get to kick freely. His dad and I won't have a metal bar kicking us in the face nightly.

Party ideas? My son is getting into the superhero stage. PJ Masks, Superman, Batman, etc. His cake is going to be of his braces with a superhero coming out of the cake. Superhero's are winners, and my son is a winner. We'll have a big cookout with friends and family. Hopefully when we go to St Louis in March we'll get to celebrate there with his doctor! This is the biggest day of our sons live so far. Since he was 2 months old he has been in these boots and bar. We are almost to the end of the treatment.

Rhetman is so strong willed and the nights have become hard getting the boots on. With all my might as a mother I put them on. Each tear shed has been met with pure love and exhaustion. He has perfect feet and its such a blessing to see. Rhet can run, jump, and climb. He has no limitations on his life now. He can be the carefree boy we've longed to see.. 119 days and he gets that life.
