Hi everyone,
There is my recent work. That's OLAMIDE, a well known Nigerian musician that I recently had a crush on 😊 because of his latest song,"science student". and I decided to make a nice sketch of him.

Hummm....I did this whole thing ( i.e the art) with jst 14 major steps, which am going to share with you now.

STEP 1
I Drew a curved line that looks somehow like a flattened letter "L'' facing down

STEP 2
From step 1, I drew the shape round his eye

STEP 3
Then I added his other eye and nose

STEP 4
I continued with his mouth

STEP 5
Still going down, I drew his beard or should I say his goatie..😂

STEP 6
Now going up, I drew his forehead down through his side hair (seems he just had his hair cut).

STEP 7
Well , I think everyone deserves an ear so let's give him one.😸

STEP 8
I went up again to his hair and drew the whole thing down ..

STEP 9
Here I drew lines; indicating his side beards.

STEP 10
I went on and added his eyes and eye brow.
This step is the last step on the plain drawings, step 11 to 14 are based on the shadings .

STEP 11
I softly outline some of the darkest area in his face, to make the shadings easier 4 me when I'll start. and also make things quicker .

STEP 12
Here I did a rough shading on the face, following the outlines I made.

STEP 13
I added the darker parts on the and blended them together and came up with this..👇

STEP 14
This is the final step, and I did much here which I could have broken down, creating even more steps but just decided to cut the long story short.
Here I drew everything that had to do with the hair & beard and gave the final touch ( i.e blending, shadings and erasing )and I added my signature name ...👇👇

Working tools: Eraser, 2B & 6B pencils.
Time taken: 2 hrs 30 mins

So there you go .... My latest work. Am not perfect yet, still got a lot to learn and also i dont know some artistic terms that i could have used while explaining but i just used my lame man understanding to script out those .
And I'll be dropping things like this, until I start what I said I'll be doing here (at my introduction post).
