The Enchanted Forest #club 100
When I was a young child, my parents brought me to a magical place. So, it was a wonderful treat to be able to visit it again nearly 50 years later.
I am talking about The Enchanted Forest near Revelstoke, British Columbia. Inside this special theme park is every fairytale come to life. Imagine wandering through the woods and chancing upon the homes of the three little pigs.
One little house made of straw, and another made of sticks. Will they survive an attack from a big bad wolf? Apparently not. We all know the strongest home is made from stones.
Imagine the glee of a child , and of old ladies alike, to be able to explore inside the strong house of stones built by the cleverest pig.
Speaking of old ladies, did you know that there is one that lives inside a shoe? And that she has more children than she knows what to do?
So numerous are her children that she cannot even keep them clothes and they run about the place naked.
Honestly, her naked little toddlers are running everywhere.
Of course, the best part of the entire experience is that I still fit inside the little fairytale structures.
This is me sliding out of the shoe and onto the next adventure.
What little adventures awaited me? Was it little gnomes that live inside the roots of majestic trees? Most definitely.
Was it little forest homes inside onions? Absolutely!
Was it bowls running away with spoons? Perhaps!
It was definitely a cow jumping over the moon.
For sure it was storks bringing new babies.
And little gnomes going about their work.
With such inviting little homes, would I be allowed to live in The Enchanted Forest forever?

Thank you!
That looks like such a fascinating and fanciful place! And there's definitely something beautiful and slightly nostalgic about "time traveling" back to the places we went as children. Sometimes it seems like they are not quite the same, but the truth is that they are, but we have changed...
A place like this was far more exciting 50 years ago--as were places such as Disney Land. There are things we will never get back.
