I've never had a high-tech toy in my life. As a child, I only played with clay that I made myself and played with my friends. We were never bought toys, and we never asked for them to buy us any.

Every day, we made toys out of clay, like cooking utensils, various shapes of tables and chairs. When we bought snacks like crackers, we had the parts to take apart and put back together. I never bought anything special; I preferred food to toys.

We used to play with red plastic dolls with blue eyes, and not all kids had them. I only played with my friend's dolls, and it was so much fun. Unlike today, where no child doesn't have their own toys, even my son has a ton of them.

Toy cars, planes, dinosaurs, and many more. The toys were very sophisticated, like Lego, which not only children but also parents loved. Even though my son never had Lego toys, he would play with Lego toys when he was at my sister-in-law's house.

My older sister's only son always buys me various expensive toys. My son understands when I say that if I don't have much money, we'll buy them later when we have some. And now my son never asks me to buy him toys because he's older and more busy with other things, like kites.

Yours sincerely

In every generations, new and more sophisticated toys are been built to keep kids occupied.

i also love the fact that you are able to teach your kids, contentment. a lot of people are lacking it in recent times.
