I know what you might be thinking when you look at this picture. You’re probably imagining that these statues represent true love between a man and a woman. But the real story is very different. Let me tell you what actually happened.

This is the tale of Yin and Yang. They were married and lived happily. Yin was hardworking and deeply in love with Yang. Yang loved him just as fiercely. But being a woman, small things often sparked her anger.

One day, Yin brought home a beautiful dress for Yang. She didn’t like it. So Yin went back and brought another one. She disliked that too. He went a third time. But this time, he didn’t return. Yang waited all day and all night, unable to sleep.

The next morning, a man from the court arrived and informed her that Yin had been caught stealing from a shop. Yang rushed to the court in desperation. There, the government lawyer announced that Yin was a thief. She protested.

The lawyer explained that Yin had been caught stealing a dress. Witnesses had seen him visiting the shop three times. Yang asked Yin about it, but he was too ashamed to speak. Then the judge asked him why he stole from the shop three times.

Yin replied that he wanted to gift his wife a dress but it was too expensive, so he decided to steal it. The judge asked why he kept returning again and again.

Yin answered that he went back to exchange the dress because his wife didn’t like the earlier ones.

The judge laughed and sentenced him to one month in prison.

After serving his time, Yin returned home. But Yang was still sullen. He tried to comfort her but she wouldn’t listen. Their foolishness had angered the heavens. And so, God turned them into stone - the very statue you are seeing now. Can't you see that she is still sullen?

After her earthly life ended, Yang reincarnated as @wakucat. She still becomes angry for no reason at all. 😁😁😍🤣😜
