Caturday: It's Just A Game Of Cat And Mouse (no mice were harmed)!
This is Daisy. Sweet, feisty, playful Daisy. She is no longer with us, unfortunately, but I will always remember her cuddles and her quirky nature. She was a small cat but had a big attitude! She roamed the "hood" like she ruled the roost. Oh, how we miss her!
One of the most memorable moments with Daisy is the day she brought a tiny little mouse into the house. Because of her gentle nature, we knew that she would not attempt to eat it. We never once thought, however, that she would make friends with the poor creature!
But here they are, seated side-to-side. Cat and mouse.
They sat for this for a few minutes before Daisy would go up to her and give a gentle nudge with her nose. The mouse would run, but not very far. Daisy would then sit next to her again before repeating the nose-nudging action.
We eventually save the little mouse and relocated him to the field next door so that he could carry on doing whatever mice do. It was lovely to have this visitor over, though - at least Daisy enjoyed the company.
That would never happen in my house: mice are just a tasty snack over here

It's quite interesting to see the friendship between these two that would normally be enemies in most cases. It's quite adorable. Daisy does seem like she was really sweet.
