Caturday - Kitties, Kitties Everywhere - On the Streets of Bulgaria
This is my contribution to #caturday...the furry brainchild of @dwigle (at least I believe that to be the case).
On the streets of Bulgaria, you can find a fair share of cats and dogs. For the most part, they seem decently fed and can be quite friendly...with the hopes of getting some food, I'm sure.
Here are a few kitties we encountered on our recent road trip.
This handsome devil joined us for dinner in Veliko Turnovo. How can you resist this sweet face?
We found this encampment in Lovech. The middle cat has mastered the look of utter disgust, don't you agree?
Neutering a cat extends its life span by two or three years.
There is most certainly a need for that here.
On average, cats spend 2/3 of every day sleeping. That means a nine-year-old cat has been awake for only three years of its life.
