This is Ms. Hattie 💗 We adopted her as an adult from the shelter. I went to the shelter just to look, and found that she was the only one interested in seeing us. We couldn’t leave the shelter without taking her with us.
Her old owners had dumped her off because she was peeing on stuff. Come to find out she had a BLADDER INFECTION! So it wasn’t her fault.
So by now you are wonder why the heavy heart, she has been gone into the Alaskan wilderness for a month now. The longest she has ever been gone is a week. We have called for her. We dump our cat boxes outside already( they are clay based ).
What’s more heart breaking is the realization I had the night before she left.
The night before she left, she climbed up onto my pillows and layers above my head. She has NEVER done that. EVER. It was like she wanted to be close because she was going on her final adventure, and she knew it.
It breaks my heart that she’s gone. I haven’t found her yet if you are wondering, it’s just a feeling. I would love to find her one morning curled up at the foot of my bed again.

AWWW! Sorry to hear you all lost your cuddles. I hope she returns home safely and nothing got her. She looks like a sweet and loving kitty.

Thanks, she is a sweetie. She has made me her human too

Sorry your furry friend has gone walking in the wild woods. I hope for you she shows up again...

=^..^=

Thanks, we miss her

One of our cats did that a couple of years ago, it went out for the evening and never came back. Unfortunately, that it a risk that cat owners have with outdoor cats.

Yeah I know. I normally don’t let them out. I have a huge cage, literally a cage, on the back porch. She and the other cats found a hole in the fence. I fixed it. Then they pushed the fence and stretched it. It wasn’t for negligence. I actually tried to keep them safe and still have a catio

oh no that's so sad =( I'll hope with you that she appears safe and sound one day.

I hope she shows up too. My kids have been out in the woods calling for her. But with the fox, and fucking ravens...sigh... it’s hard to have optimistic hope

I'm so sorry! I hope she returns home safely!!!

Thanks, me too.

Always bad news to hear that. It's strange to hear about that kind of behaviour prior to the vanishing act.
Just hope she comes back!

It is sad and strange. She is such an awesome cat. She sleeps on me in a draping way. She lays across my mid section with legs stretched out. So at night it’s strange not having her company.

awww. I had a cat that disappeared one day. She too had a snuggly night and then went off into the woods never to be seen again. I think it's a cat thing - a call to the wild for their final resting place. I think they instinctively know these things. I hope I'm wrong and she comes back. I'll keep my fingers crossed. <3

Thanks 💗 I miss her, I miss her a LOT! It’s quite lonely at night without her. She was like that arm sling over you as you drift off to sleep. She always draped herself across my side.
Man I miss her😭

I know exactly how you feel. I had sibling cats (Spot and Stoopid) and they were the best! Especially for snuggles and sometimes a good laugh (with a laser).
