Happy New Year from Curator Cat! Promoting #catsofsteemit!
So, it has become 2019!
Happy New Year, Felines and Hoomans of Steemit! Here's hoping you've all navigated safely into the new year, and aren't starting off the year with too many hangovers!
Things were pretty quiet around here; the Hoomans decided to have a quiet night in, which suited me just fine. I'm not fond of being alone in the house when they start setting fireworks off in the neighborhood.
2019 Goal: Establish the #catsofsteemit Tag
Whereas I am not much into New Year's resolutions, one of my goals for 2019 is to try to seriously establish the #catsofsteemit tag in our community.
This tag is intended to go with all posts that include one of our regular cat characters; Hoomans who regularly post about their feline friends, who have become "regular" parts of the Steemit landscape.
It is NOT intended for reposting "random" cats you find on the Internet... because those are just "cat" cats, not "cats of Steemit."
I'm not big on "name dropping," but some likely candidates to use this tag with their cat posts would include @manorvillemike, @nikv, @krazzytrukker, @sirgatodaniel, @phoenixwren, @kid4life, @grapthar, @senseicat, @cat-isa, @danaedwards, @comiccat, @coreyb, @crypticat, @roxy-cat, @jhoevhee, @lilithdevonrex, @pampered-pets, @plstar, @thecatfiles, @white.tiger.
I'm sorry if I missed any one you cat posters out there; feel free to start using the tag!

oooo I like the idea of a new tag for the cat lovers here. The bot on the cats and cat tags was very annoying.
I liked cat facts but it seemed to annoy quite a few people
I do too; but it ended up being more annoying; especially when you edit the post and it posts another fact up.
Ah yes, those are some good candidates, too. I think I will start keeping a "Cat List" of users.

Great idea! I will make Loki, my gray cat, one of the #catsofsteemit. He has been extra cute lately and should provide good pictures on a regular basis. =^..^=
Loki definitely belongs in this group! Just use #catsofsteemit with any posts featuring photos of him!

I am IN...!!! As a #catsofsteemit you will see that I just love getting my mug shot taken. I know when my hooman picks up that flat thing He is comin to give me rubbin..... And "rubbin is lovin". My bad reputation is just a myth. I grew outta my Anger Issues..... Lol.
