PAY BACK'S A BITCH ... #catsnaps
Yesterday, all was well. The day started out with Scary Mary sitting comfortably in her box after breakfast.
Gerry had joined her, getting some morning sun just outside Mary's box.
For those that don't know Scary Mary hates all cats and Gerry is the only one who will stand up to her. At times he will charge her out of the blue for payback of an earlier abuse by the Queen of mean.
This morning looked like their relationship was improving. Mary even was licking herself ignoring Gerry.
Gerry even rested his head on the box like he had total trust in her. Guess the warm sun was getting him off guard.
Anyway later on I looked in their direction and see they had switched spots.
The sun had moved so only the box was getting any sun. Mary must have left her box to do something and Gerry took advantage.
Poor Gerry!
That Mary sure does seem to live up to her "scary" title. The scratch doesn't look too horrible; probably worse looking because Gerry is white. Keep an eye on it, though, make sure no abscess develops.

Maybe a time out for Scary Mary! One of my cats has a scar on his nose from fighting with his brother.

I mean the cut on the nose.....
It doesn't look too bad. You could put a dab of Neosporin on it but he might lick it off. As long as it doesn't get infected he should be okay.

Awww poor Gerry. He sure does love that sunlight HA HA. Mary knows he is deaf so she just resists him until he gets in her face.
Cats don't know about not hearing... They live jungle land...
Oh shit! The Scary Mary didn't give up her box as easily as we thought. Gerry is a rough dude standing up to her.
Dad, they both need some extra lovin'. Just for being themselves. You got a lively group sir.
They get plenty of TLC, I just need a bigger house :-)

If mine have a fight the nose often get's the cut, at first I thought it was mama resting next to Scary was surprised it was Gerry.
Gerry hangs by Mary in the cat tree most of the time. I'm just an impartial observer. :-)
